Every year the Bordeaux appelation sells the wine called Bordeaux Futures wines, this is a pre-sale, so consumers and professionals can buy wine at much lower price, the wine is delivered usually 18-24 months later. It is againt the law to water the ground at Bordeaux wine appelation. This is complete natural process. At Bordeaux you have different classification as: First Growth Classified (only 5 chateaux) 2nd, "3th, 4th and 5th Growth classified, the you have Cru Bourgeois for the Medoc (wine who are usually raised in oak barrel).
Every two years Bordeaux celebrate the biggest winefair called Vinexpo. 50,000 professionals are coming from all over the world during this 4 days show.
